Hello Dear Customers, Old and New.
I'm usually in touch sooner with my mailings but we moved and built a new shop this summer and I had to deal with surgery on top of that. It was chaotic but turned out well, and we are in shape for the fall season. I received a clean bill of health from my surgeon as well as no limitations for work! I just can't get a break!
The new shop which is for my wreath and bow business and my husband's masonry business will be ready just in time and I have successfully rounded up my usual crew of wreath makers and brush cutters. Now it's finally time to round up my customers! I can take your orders at any time and fully expect to have a very busy fall season.
Also, last year I expected 80 dozen Double Face wreaths from a supplier who never came through and my customers' satisfaction with the last minute SF for DF substitutes proved to all of us that Single Face on double rings is the way to go. They're thick, fresh, sturdy, affordable (profitable), wreaths that weigh nearly as much as the DF. They appear twice as thick since the brush is all on one side and 99% of the general public either does not know or care about the difference. They store well, travel well, decorate well and sell well! In the last 3 years of my 18 year retail business, I went 95% single face and I found out that my retail customers barely noticed!

Making bows as you go cuts into your profits. When the season is upon us,
we must be strictly focused on perishable items and customer service.
In 18 or so years of retailing, my nicest bows always sold first. A really nice bow sells the wreath. Devote your time to perishables
when it counts and make or buy your bows ahead. A nice bow can save a 'troubled' wreath. People love what is new and beautiful.
When I was just starting with the high-end ribbon and purchased more conservatively, I would run out of those bows before my busiest weekends!
I encourage you to try some and see for yourself.
Don't run out of your basic reds, but don't shy away from the fancy bows.
Your customers will be happier and you will make more money.
You deserve it!!
And bows are low risk, they don't die! This business is too tough to lose easy sales.

Fundraiser Wreath Special
This fresh Balsam or Fraser fir door size wreath (12" frame, 24" OD) and beautiful red velvet 9" Classic Deluxe bow with 14" tails is above
the standard of the average mass produced wreath. It is very reasonably priced per wreath/bow and can retail for at least $12.00 to $18.00

This is an excellent way to raise money for your cause with very little effort. This wreath has been a favorite with Scout troops. I guess
Scouts learn more about marketing than actual wreath making these days!! Everyone wins, the Scouts make more money with less effort and the
customer gets a professionally made wreath that they are proud to put on their front door. It is sturdy, full and very fresh made. Whatever
your organization or cause, this wreath with bow will sell itself and market itself as well for future years.
Some of the other organizations that have used my Fundraiser Wreath to raise money are the Humane Society, different church groups, day care
centers, Lion's Club, 4th and 5th graders, and others. Whatever your organization is, if you need to raise money and are considering selling
wreaths, please call me with any questions. The buying minimum is only four dozen, and unless you already have a customer base you should start
small. I have 29 years in the business and believe I can help you increase the success of your fundraising efforts. Buying a ready made
quality wholesale product for resale greatly simplifies the fundraising process and greatly reduces the work load on the volunteers.
And also, once you've experienced some success with this simple fundraiser, there are ways to increase your revenues by adding a second or
third bow choice or even by having extra red velvet bows to sell separately. The additional bow choices would be fancy bows that could increase
your revenues by 2 or 3 dollars per wreath. The extra red velvet bow sales could also increase your revenues by the same amount. Through my
many years in retail I have always sold many, many more bows than wreaths.
